The Second Balkan War was of much greater importance to Austro-Hungarian-Serbian relations. The Second Balkan War was a fight for the spoils of the First Balkan War (aka Macedonia, Thrace) Serbia won the war and, as a consequence, increased their territory by 82%!!
When the Serbs learned of the vast increase in territory and their nation's great victory, the fires of nationalism were, so to speak, stoked.
